UK based DJ and producer Reenday joins us at Piston Recordings with the superb two-tracker titled ‘Flow’. Reenday started his career in electronic music in 2017 as a DJ. Inspired by House and Deep House beats, his sets are focused on an exciting musical journey with a wide musical influence that makes people feel real emotion. On the production front he’s amassed an impressive catalogue since his first release in 2019 which led to exposure on several top labels. We’re delighted to have him on board at Piston.

We kick off the release with the title track, ‘Flow’. The intro boasts a solid kick and crispy hat combo alongside a mesmerizing pad and soft staccato note. A deep, warming bassline feeds into the groove adding a magical touch as distant vox and swirling pads widen the spectrum. Tasty chords are contrasted with bright plucky notes and teasing 303 motifs. Superb effort and a definite must have, no doubt. ‘Control’ rounds out the release, delivering an immersive slice of deep house. Chunky kicks and rhythmic percussions stack up as enchanting pads weave through the groove. Bright, plucky notes are joined by a deep, rich bassline which carries a funky pattern. Purely hypnotic, the groove captivates the mind and controls you for the duration. A fantastic cut that will not disappoint.
