Nacho Riveros debuts on Piston Recordings with the fantastic Moment Of My Life EP. Buenos Aires native Juan Ignacio Riveros aka Nacho Riveros, began to get into music from a young age. At just eight years old, his parents steered him to learning guitar before he started to study music theory. By 2007 he was getting into being a DJ which of course took him to producing electronic music. After his studies at EMBA, he started to produce Deep House and House among other genres, using his other alias Ogle Sound. With various tracks signed to labels throughout the world, Juan has seen his works supported by top DJK’s and artists which, is a testament to his deep knowledge and passion for the sound. Great to have him here at Piston.

Moment Of My Life takes us on a seemingly deep and moody trek into house. A solid drum section lays the foundation for a slumbering bassline to meander through the groove. Smooth chords add warmth and depth as the rhythm engages, forcing us to move. The break reveals hi strings and a soft voice for that mesmerizing touch before the chunky beats and thick bass return for the duration. A beautifully constructed slice with an infectious groove, just the tonic to keep the set rolling long into the night.

Kyoto opens with shimmering display of cymbals, hats, claps and rhythmic drums. A full-bodied chunky kick drum takes over before a deep voice is joined by a simple yet highly impactful chord. A lush bassline rolls in, probing through the groove while otherworldly synths add a cosmic touch. Deeply hypnotic and deceptively dancey, a definite must have for the later sessions.

DBC intros with a classic deep house vibe, punchy kicks, warm chords and building percussions. As the layers build and the rhythm takes hold, a sub-level, probing bassline gives off a truly organic vibe which is complimented by sublime FX. The track moves smoothly, adding in crowd ambience to give a more distinct flavour. A beautifully simplistic piece with the power to command the floor and most definitely not to be missed.
