Ritz's enduring commitment to our label has produced an impressive catalogue of over 50 releases since 2016, firmly establishing him as a cornerstone of our musical family. His tracks consistently dominate charts, earning recognition as essential weapons for weekend revelry among fellow artists. Beyond his contributions to Piston, Ritz curates his sonic universe through his own imprint, Left Hook Recordings, where he showcases his distinctive musical identity. While Ritz's DJ appearances are rare, they are reserved for special occasions, featuring exclusively his unparalleled creations. We are thrilled, as always, to have him grace our label once again.

‘Unicorn I’ kicks off the release with a nice punchy kick drum and cool bar ambience. Lush chords swell up along with bright hats, snappy snares and rhythmic percussions. High strings contrast beautifully with the chords as sweeping FX distant vocal shots come through. The chords intensify while a groovy bassline sets the track on fire. A definite dancefloor destroyer, no doubt. ‘Unicorn II’ rounds out the release taking us a deeper, groovier path thanks to tight beats, crispy sharp hats and flurries of dancey percussions. Lush melodic chords fade up alongside a thick, warm bassline as spacey FX and enchanting melodies collide. Wholly infectious, the perfect fodder to get your groove on to. Not to be missed.
